Apologies!

First off, let me apologize and say that my first pictures are not spectacular- I am going to Beijing tomorrow and have packed my camera and everything, so I had to use my-gasp!- phone to take these. But anyways, here's my first attempt(please excuse my embarrassed yet somehow cheeky facial expression):

vest- wallis, shirt- ms selfridge's/sister's closet, bag- chanel, shorts- primark, tights- no idea, shoes- topshop

Anyway, I know that this outfit looks quite dull, but it was just a simple, Sunday family outfit. Plus, this was the first outing with my wonderful new Chanel purse, so I wanted it to be sort of the focal piece. The amazing thing about this seemingly mundane shorts-and-tights combo is the stirrups which are, in my opinion, quite magical:

The texture is just great- thick and thin knit lines of black on a sort-of royal blue fabric, and although the pictures don't show it, the colour is really amazing.

Well, that was it, first REAL post over...I know I have not really shown much ingenuity, but as I mentioned before, I'm going to Beijing tomorrow, and all my lovely new and old things have gone in my suitcase! Hopefully, if I'm not too busy with MUN, I'll manage to take loads of pictures of me, my friends and stylish people in Beijing and post them when I get back. I hear that the temperature sometimes goes below zero, and although I have experienced some chill while visiting my sisters in London, it might probably be too much for a tropical girl to take. The First One

Oh God.

Needless to say, I am a bit nervous. This isn't my first blog, but because of the lack of success I've had with the last one, I was sort of unsure on whether to start a newer, better, tighter one! Thanks to people like Queens Michelle and Marie at Kingdom of Style, Suzie of Style Bubble and Rumi at Fashion Toast however, I have decided to finally re-launch my attempt at being a blogger.

So anyways, here it is, a blog for everyone that loves fashion and music as much as I do. I just wanted to express myself somewhere, be able to write anything freely and share my fun fabulous finds. Starting tomorrow, I'll be posting-hopefully- regularly, from music reviews and news about bands I love, to shopping finds and those inevitable what-i'm-wearing-posts. 

Well, I think before I start my posts, you should get to know me a little bit better:

I love all types of prints, as my name indicates, but I am hardly one for color: although I did go through that nu-rave phase- complete with desert scarf, neon skinny jeans, House of Holland shirt, and Klaxons CD in hand.

.....Right now, that's all I can think of that might possibly be related to this blog as my brain is fried, so let me stop from ruining a short, almost lovely little post.
